The 5A-HV-UBEC is a switch-mode DC-DC regulator supplied with a 3-10
cells lithium battery pack and outputs a consistent safe power for your receiver,
gyro and servos. It is very suitable for big electric RC models.Using this UBEC,
the receiver can obtain the power supply directly from the main battery pack, so the
additional battery pack for receiver is unnecessary.
Compared with the linear mode UBEC, the overall efficiency of the switch-mode
UBEC is much higher, so it can extend the working time of the receiver battery p-
ack, and because a switch mode UBEC can significantly reduce the heat emission,
it can avoid the loss of control caused by the over-heat problem which is frequently
happened with the linear mode UBEC.

2 Features
2.1 Designed with an advanced switch mode DC-DC regulator IC,
the max efficiency of the chip is up to 92%.
2.2 The output current is very large.
2.3 With the output short-circuit protection function.
2.4 A metal shield covers almost all the electronic components, and a specially -
made filter is attached with the output wires to significantly reduce the elec-
troma gnetic interference.
2.5 With ultra-wide input voltage from 8V-42V.
2.6 Safe power on with the polarity protection function. If the input polarity is not
correct,the UBEC can't work, but it will not be damaged. What you need to do
is just swapping the battery pack's polarity.
2.7 Shows the working status with an indicator (LED), lights when the output is in
normal range.
2.8 It has a switch to turn on or turn off the output.
2.9 With a step-down voltage regulator as an accessory.

The product is mainly used for the servo with large regular vane's airplane，
such as gasoline engine. This product can distribute several strings'power. The
sectionboard integrates CDI remote flameout swiches and reserves position for
receiver, which make servo’s lines convenient and tidiness. If you use double
powers input to the power supply, it will be more stable and more security.

Produce features:

2.Integrates CDI remote flameout swiches. Through each channel of the remote
controller or swich channel(usually choose a switch channel)can make the gaso-
line engine’s CDI on or off by remote control.
3.Independent CDI power supply socket. Receiver power completely separates
with the CDI power,so you should not worry about that CDI arouses high frequen-
cy signal will interfere the receiver, and the LED display the state of the power
supply at real time.
4.LED display the state of the electric voltage at real time,and LED can display in
two colours.
5.There are four leds display the sectionboard’s working states at real time.
6.The servo supplys power,at the same time diode directly connectes with the batt-
ery. The voltage drop is approximately 0.3V.
7.Receiver supplys power:
Direct connection:When sectionboard uses 5V-6V to supply power,then you can
choose “direct connection”.
Voltage drop 0.5V: When sectionboard uses 6V and you don't like the receive
power too hight, then you can choose “voltage drop 0.5V”.
Voltage drop 7805: When sectionboard uses 7.2V- 8.4V high voltage to supply
power, then you can choose “voltage drop 7805”.
